Which Transit Connect models have AdBlue?

The MK2 Transit Connect (2013 onwards) gained AdBlue on certain 2.0 EcoBlue variants from around 2019, specifically the 100ps and 120ps engines built to Euro 6d compliance. The MK3 Transit Connect (2023 onwards) uses the same 2.0 EcoBlue engine and carries AdBlue across its Euro 6d line-up. On both generations the AdBlue filler is usually found in the engine bay under a blue cap, rather than beside the fuel filler. Not every Transit Connect has AdBlue. Call us to confirm your year and engine before booking and we will tell you straight away.

What the delete involves

The delete is carried out via the OBD port. No parts are removed and nothing is cut or unplugged from the vehicle. We update the ECU software to disable the AdBlue system entirely. After the job your Transit Connect will show no AdBlue warning lights, no fault codes and no countdown timer. The risk of the engine going into lockout is gone. Most Transit Connect deletes are completed in 60 to 90 minutes. We bring all the equipment needed to your location, so the van does not need to go anywhere.

Mobile service across the North West

We cover Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire, West Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire. That is a 40-mile radius of Eccles, Manchester. We come to your home, depot or car park, wherever the van is parked. The Transit Connect AdBlue delete is £330 all in, with no callout fee. That price includes a free diagnostic before any work begins. We are insured to £2 million and carry everything on the van.

FAQs

Does my Transit Connect have AdBlue?
Not all Transit Connects do. AdBlue is fitted to certain 2.0 EcoBlue Euro 6d variants, typically from 2019 onwards on the MK2 and standard across the MK3. The quickest way to check is to look for a blue cap in the engine bay. If you are not sure, call us and we will confirm before you book.
Which Transit Connect years have AdBlue?
Euro 6d compliance became standard from around 2019 on the MK2 Transit Connect, covering the 100ps and 120ps EcoBlue engines. All MK3 Transit Connects (2023 onwards) with the 2.0 EcoBlue engine have AdBlue fitted. Earlier MK2 models from 2013 to 2018 generally do not have AdBlue.
Is Transit Connect AdBlue delete permanent?
Yes. The ECU software update is permanent. AdBlue warning lights and countdown timers will not return, and the system will not reactivate unless the ECU is deliberately reflashed back to the original map.
How much does Transit Connect AdBlue delete cost?
£330 all in, with no callout charge. That includes a free diagnostic before any work starts. There are no hidden extras. For off-road and export use only.
