Which Ford models have AdBlue?
Ford fitted AdBlue to diesel models using the 2.0 EcoBlue engine. Affected models include the Transit (MK8, 2019 onwards), Transit Custom (2019 onwards), Transit Connect (some variants), Ranger (T6.2, 2022 onwards), Kuga (2.0 EcoBlue 190ps MHEV), Galaxy and S-Max (2.0 EcoBlue 190ps). The 2.0 EcoBlue engines with higher power outputs (150ps and above) and those meeting Euro 6d standards are most likely to have AdBlue. The filler is usually under a blue cap in the engine bay. What the delete involves
We delete the AdBlue system via the OBD port. Software only. No parts are removed from the vehicle. The ECU is updated to disable AdBlue completely. Warning lights are cleared. The countdown timer is removed. There is no lockout risk. The system is disabled at ECU level, so there are no warning messages on start-up. The vehicle carries on as normal, with no need to top up AdBlue fluid again. Most Ford deletes are completed in 60 to 90 minutes at your location. No garage visit required.
