Which V90 models have AdBlue?

The Volvo V90 (2016 onwards) has AdBlue on all diesel variants. This covers the V90 D4 (190ps) and D5 (235ps) in standard estate form, and the V90 Cross Country D4 and D5 all-wheel drive variants. All use Volvo's 2.0-litre Drive-E diesel engine with an SCR system that requires AdBlue fluid. The AdBlue filler is located in the engine bay on the passenger side. If your V90 is a diesel registered from 2017 onwards, it almost certainly has AdBlue. Not sure about your engine code? Call us to confirm before booking.

What the delete involves

We connect to the OBD port and reprogram the ECU to disable the AdBlue system completely. No parts are removed and nothing is physically touched beyond the port. Once the update is applied, all AdBlue warning lights and fault codes are cleared. The countdown timer is gone. There is no risk of the car entering lockout mode or being stranded. Most Volvo V90 deletes take 60 to 90 minutes and are completed at your location, with no need to visit a garage.

Is Volvo V90 AdBlue delete permanent?
Yes. The ECU update we apply is permanent. Your V90 will not require AdBlue fluid again and no warning lights or countdown timers will return.
