Which 7 Series models have AdBlue?

The G11 and G12 7 Series (2015 onwards) uses AdBlue on all diesel variants. That covers the 730d, 740d, 745d and M760d, all of which run a B57 engine with an SCR system fitted. The AdBlue tank on the 7 Series is larger than most at around 18 to 20 litres, but the delete removes the system entirely so the tank is never a concern again. Earlier F01 models (2008 to 2015) did not have AdBlue in UK specification. The blue AdBlue filler cap sits inside the fuel flap. If your G11 or G12 is showing a countdown warning or a fault light, call us to confirm before booking and we will advise.

What the delete involves

The delete is carried out through the OBD port – no parts are removed. We update the ECU to disable the AdBlue system completely. All warning lights clear, the countdown timer goes, and the lockout condition is removed. Your 7 Series will not request AdBlue again. Most G11 and G12 deletes are completed in 60 to 90 minutes at your location with no need to go near a garage.
