Which X7 models have AdBlue?

The G07 BMW X7 (2019 onwards) uses AdBlue on all diesel variants. That includes the xDrive30d, xDrive40d, and M50d, running B57 and S58 engines. The X7 carries a large AdBlue tank of around 18 litres, with the blue filler cap located behind the fuel flap. The G07 is the first and only X7 generation – there is no earlier model. If your X7 diesel is showing an AdBlue warning light or a mile countdown, give us a call before booking and we will confirm your exact specification.

What the delete involves

We connect to the OBD port and update the ECU in software. No parts are removed. The AdBlue system is disabled at the calibration level – warning lights go off, the countdown disappears, and the system will not lock you out again. Most X7 deletes are completed in 60 to 90 minutes at your location, with a free diagnostic carried out before any work starts.

Mobile service across the North West

We cover Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire, West Yorkshire, Derbyshire, and Staffordshire. Home driveway, workplace car park, or depot – wherever the vehicle is, we come to it. You do not need to drop the car off or take time out to visit a garage. The price is £330 all in, including the free diagnostic. We carry public liability insurance to £2 million and have worked on over 4,000 vehicles across the region.

FAQs

Does my BMW X7 have AdBlue?
If your X7 is a diesel registered from 2019 onwards, yes. All G07 X7 diesel models – the xDrive30d, xDrive40d, and M50d – use AdBlue as standard. Petrol X7 models do not have AdBlue.
How do I check if my X7 has AdBlue?
Open the fuel flap. If there is a second, smaller cap with a blue ring or label, your vehicle has AdBlue. You may also see a warning message on the iDrive screen showing a remaining mileage countdown. Not sure? Call us and we can confirm from your registration.
Is BMW X7 AdBlue delete permanent?
Yes. The delete is a software change to the ECU. There is no countdown, no warning light, and no lockout after the job is done. The vehicle does not return to a warning state.
How much does BMW X7 AdBlue delete cost?
£330, all in. That covers the free diagnostic and the full delete at your location. No hidden charges. For off-road and export use only. AdBlue delete is not for use on UK public roads.
