Which XC60 models have AdBlue

The 2nd generation Volvo XC60 (2017 onwards) has AdBlue on diesel variants fitted with the SCR system. This covers the XC60 D4 (190ps), D5 (235ps), and B4/B5 mild-hybrid diesel variants. The AdBlue filler is in the engine bay, usually on the passenger side under a blue cap. The 1st generation XC60 (2008-2017) does not have AdBlue. If your 2nd gen XC60 is a diesel registered from 2018 or later, it almost certainly has AdBlue. Not sure? Call us to confirm before booking.

What the delete involves

The delete is carried out entirely through the OBD port using specialist diagnostic software. No parts are removed from the vehicle. We write an updated map directly to the ECU, disabling the AdBlue system permanently. All warning lights are cleared, the countdown timer disappears, and there is no risk of the vehicle entering lockout. The system stays off for good, so there are no resets or top-ups required after the job. Most XC60 deletes are completed in 60-90 minutes at your location.

Mobile service across the North West

We cover Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire, West Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire. All work is carried out at your home, driveway or car park – no garage visit required. The price is £330 all in, including a free diagnostic before any work starts. We are insured to £2 million. Same-day and next-day appointments are often available.
