Which E Class models have AdBlue?
The W213 E Class, built from 2016 onwards, has AdBlue on most diesel variants. Affected models include the E200d, E220d, E300d and E350d, fitted with OM654 and OM656 engines. The E Class estate (S213) and diesel coupe and cabriolet variants are also affected. If your E Class has a blue DEF filler cap near the fuel filler or inside the boot, it uses AdBlue. What the delete involves
The delete is carried out through the OBD port using specialist software. No parts are removed from the vehicle. The ECU is updated to disable the AdBlue system completely. Once the work is done, all warning lights clear, the countdown timer disappears and the car will not enter lockout. There are no fault codes stored and nothing flags on a standard diagnostic scan.
