Which Touareg models have AdBlue
The 3rd generation VW Touareg (CR7, 2018 onwards) has AdBlue fitted across all diesel variants. This covers the 3.0 TDI 231ps, 3.0 TDI 286ps, and the V8 TDI 422ps. The AdBlue filler is inside the fuel flap, marked with a blue cap. The 2nd generation Touareg (7P, 2010-2018) did not have AdBlue in standard UK specification. What the delete involves
The delete is carried out through the OBD port – no parts are removed from the vehicle. We update the ECU to disable the AdBlue system entirely. Once complete, all AdBlue warning lights are off, the countdown timer is gone, and there is no risk of the vehicle entering lockout.
