Which C Class models have AdBlue?
The W205 C Class (2014-2021) has AdBlue on higher-output diesel variants from around 2018. The W206 (2021 onwards) has AdBlue fitted to all diesel models as standard. The main affected engines are the OM654 2.0-litre diesel, which covers the C200d, C220d and C300d. The easiest way to check is to look for a blue DEF filler cap near the fuel filler or in the boot. If it is there, the car has AdBlue. W205 models built before mid-2018 may not have the system at all. What the delete involves
The delete is carried out through the OBD port using specialist software. No parts are removed from the car. The ECU is updated to disable the AdBlue system completely.
