Which Vito models have AdBlue?

The W447 Vito (2014 onwards) has AdBlue on higher-output diesel variants from around 2019. Affected models include the Vito 116 CDI, 119 CDI, and 120 CDI (V6) with the OM651 and OM656 diesel engines on Euro 6d-compliant builds. The Vito Tourer (passenger version) and cargo van share the same drivetrain. If your Vito shows an AdBlue warning or has a blue filler cap near the diesel filler, it has the system. What the delete involves

We connect to your Vito's OBD port and update the ECU to disable the AdBlue system entirely. No parts are removed and no hardware is touched. It is a software-only process. Does my Mercedes Vito have AdBlue?
Not all Vito models have AdBlue. The system is fitted on the higher-output W447 variants from around 2019, including the 116 CDI, 119 CDI and 120 CDI (V6). The quickest way to check is to look for a blue filler cap near your diesel filler cap, or an AdBlue warning light on the dashboard. Both are definitive signs the system is present. If you are still unsure, call us with your registration and we will confirm which system your Vito has.
Which Vito years have AdBlue?
The W447 generation runs from 2014, but AdBlue was added to the higher-powered diesel variants from around 2019 to meet Euro 6d emissions standards. Earlier Vito models and lower-output variants in the 2014 to 2019 window generally do not have AdBlue.
Is Mercedes Vito AdBlue delete permanent?
Yes. The ECU update disables the AdBlue system at the software level. There is no countdown, no warning light, and no further AdBlue required. The change persists after the vehicle is switched off or the battery is disconnected.
