Which A4 models have AdBlue?
The B9 Audi A4 (2016 onwards) has AdBlue on higher-output diesel variants. This covers the 35 TDI (2.0, 163ps) and 40 TDI (2.0, 204ps) on Euro 6d-compliant builds, typically from 2019 onwards. Earlier B9 builds and the B8 A4 (2008 to 2016) do not have AdBlue in UK spec. The A4 Avant (B9 estate) shares the same drivetrain and the same AdBlue setup. The AdBlue filler is inside the fuel flap, next to the diesel cap. If your A4 B9 is from 2019 or later and has the 35 or 40 TDI engine, it likely has AdBlue. Call us to confirm before booking.
What the delete involves
We delete the AdBlue system via the OBD port. No parts are removed and the car does not need to go into a workshop. The ECU is updated to disable AdBlue, which clears all warning lights, fault codes and the mile countdown in one go. Once the work is done, the car will not prompt for AdBlue fluid again and there is nothing to maintain going forward. Most B9 A4 deletes are completed in 60 to 90 minutes at your location, with the car ready to drive away the same day.
