Which Q8 models have AdBlue?
The 4M Audi Q8, launched in 2018, has AdBlue fitted across every diesel variant sold in the UK. That covers the Q8 50 TDI (3.0-litre V6, 286ps) and the SQ8 TDI (4.0-litre V8, 435ps). The AdBlue filler sits inside the fuel flap, marked with a blue cap. Unlike smaller VAG models, the Q8 carries a larger AdBlue tank, typically around 15 litres. All Q8 diesels sold in the UK on the 4M platform have AdBlue fitted from new. If you are unsure of your engine code, call us to confirm before booking.
What the delete involves
The delete is carried out entirely through the OBD port. No parts are removed from the vehicle. We update the ECU to disable AdBlue monitoring and injection. Once complete, all AdBlue warning lights clear, the countdown timer is gone, and the car will not lock out from a lack of fluid. Most Q8 deletes are finished in 60 to 90 minutes at your chosen location. There is nothing to top up, no fault codes to reset, and no refill costs going forward.
